Io Java Applet README
Note:
It seems that the mirror site at Caltech did not copy the io.jar file to their server.

Please read the following instructions carefully before running the Io Java Applet.
Before you start, make sure that Java 2 1.2 or higher is installed on you computer.
Please refer to the Sun Java site for detailed installation instructions.
Recommended configuration
For MS-Windows platforms, the recommended configuration is:
- 800 MHz CPU or higher,
- 256 MByte of RAM,
- 1028x768 video resolution or higher,
- Internet Explorer version 5 or higher or Netscape 4.5 or higher,
How to start ?
To start the Io Java Applet,
select the page
ioApplet.html
from within the browser,
or simply click
here
to run the applet in a new window.
Note that the bigger the window the slower the annimation will be.
If you have a slow machine (less than 400MHz CPU) try to reduce the window size to obtain better results.
